Jessica
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jessica (she/her) has a Bachelor in Kinesiology and a Bachelor in Health Studies from the University of Regina. She has experience working in primary health care, quality improvement, and the fitness industry. In Jessica’s free time she enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
She began volunteering at SEARCH in 2016. She previously held the Faculty Liaison and Volunteer Retention Chairperson and Alumni Member positions on the Board of Directors. Recently, she has stepped into the role as Executive Director of SEARCH. She hopes to revitalize SEARCH and bring forth meaningful and reliable program delivery to our clients.

Aamina
CHAIR
COMMUNITY LIAISON & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBER
Aamina Tauqeer (she/her) is a third year psychology student at the University of Regina in the faculty of science. She is passionate about helping others and advocating for marginalized groups to receive adequate support and equal access to resources and opportunities. Having volunteered with SEARCH since 2022, she has seen the positive impact it has on the community, and is eager to step into this position as a way to play a bigger role in helping SEARCH’s mission.
Aamina spends her time volunteering with various other organizations around the city as well. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, reading, and enjoying nature as much as possible

Ariana
SECRETARY
Ariana Bourgeois (she/her) joined the SEARCH team in March 2026. She is studying Canadian Indigenous health outcomes at the University of Regina.
As a member of the SEARCH team, Ariana records meeting minutes and other key events, supervises clinic shifts, and actively contributes to committee work. She enjoys staying organized and finds fulfillment in supporting meaningful work that benefits the community.
Ariana is passionate about policy, community building, and creating environments where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported. She is committed to understanding what it takes to improve the health and well-being of people in Regina.

Sarim
TREASURER
Sarim Uddin (he/him) is currently in his first year at the University of Regina, where he is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Fueled by a profound desire to serve others, Sarim is charting a course towards medical school. His goal is to deepen his impact within the healthcare industry, driven by a commitment to enhance community well-being. Sarim’s commitment extends beyond the classroom. He is actively involved in community service, volunteering with various organizations , including SHA, RYFL, and MAS. His work with these groups not only supports locals but also strengthens his leadership and interpersonal skills. In his leisure time, Sarim is a passionate football fan, enjoying games with his friends. He also engages in stock trading, honing his analytical skills and understanding of the financial markets. When not involved in sports or stock trading, Sarim loves spending quality time and traveling with his family, creating memorable experiences.

Hephzibah
FACULTY LIAISON & VOLUNTEER RETENTION COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON
COMMUNITY LIAISON & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBER
Hephzibah Ohaji is a third-year student at the University of Regina pursuing a Bachelor of Health Studies with a minor in Biochemistry. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, she is working toward medical school with the goal of bridging the gap between scientific research and compassionate, patient-centred care.
Her commitment to improving community health extends well beyond the classroom. As President of Helping Hands, she advocates for health equity and mental wellness while collaborating with grassroots organizations such as Passion2Action and the Marian Centre. She believes that meaningful partnerships with local communities are essential to building healthier, more connected environments.
Outside of her academic and community involvement, Hephzibah enjoys learning new skills, whether it's exploring coding, learning to play musical instruments, or playing volleyball. She brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to everything she does.

Amal
POLICY COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON
Amal (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing from the University of Regina. She began volunteering with SEARCH this year and appreciates the positive change the organization creates in Regina. As Policy Chairperson, she hopes to continue to make positive changes in the organization through updating policies and creating new policies that support the growth of SEARCH.
In her free time, Amal enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and binge watching television shows.

Sara
GRANTS & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON
Sara (she/her) has a Bachelor in Health Studies from the University of Regina. She is passionate about health equity and the social determinants of health, and aspires to work towards improving community health in Regina.
Sara has volunteered with SEARCH for two years as a student, and now that she has graduated, she is excited about becoming more involved in the work that SEARCH does. She hopes to utilize her knowledge and experience in health equity to enhance the positive impact that SEARCH has on the community.
In her free time, Sara enjoys reading, journaling, and making memories with her friends and family.

Melody
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Melody (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas. Inspired by lived experiences with health inequities and a commitment to service, she is dedicated to building healthier, more equitable communities.
Her training in Psychology and Medical Laboratory Science has strengthened her understanding of the biological, psychological, and social factors that shape health, reinforcing her passion for compassionate, person-centred care. She began volunteering in 2018 with the Philippine Red Cross and a local community hospital. After immigrating to Canada, she continued her service with the Regina Public Library in 2022 and joined SEARCH in 2025, supporting initiatives that promote health, education, and community well-being.
In her free time, Melody enjoys reading, cycling, walking, and exploring new places with family and friends.
Andreea
UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN REPRESENTATIVE
Andreea Ababei (she/her) is a third-year medical student at the University of Saskatchewan and holds a Bachelor of Science with High Honours in Psychology from the University of Regina. She began volunteering with SEARCH in 2021 and previously served as Programming Committee Chairperson. She really enjoys working with a wonderful team and learning about holistic health care.
As the University of Saskatchewan Representative, Andreea acts as a liaison between SEARCH and the university community. She promotes volunteer opportunities, supports student recruitment and engagement, and helps strengthen SEARCH’s connections with students and faculty.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing pickleball, running, and trying new coffee shops.

David
BOARD ALUMNI
After serving for over two years as Clinical Liaison Committee Chairperson, David Nnamdi (he/him) transitions to SEARCH’s Board Alumni. He holds significant interests in health economics, systems, and policy, and is currently completing graduate studies at the University of Regina, with research that explores how policy shapes access to primary care for underserved populations.
He brings experience in frontline healthcare delivery, spent largely in service of Regina’s vulnerable populations. Having contributed his background and perspective to SEARCH’s board over the past two years, David remains deeply committed to the cause of improving health outcomes for underserved communities in Regina, and looks forward to staying engaged with SEARCH’s work, championing its impact, and supporting the organization as its new Board Alumni.
When he is not engaged in academics or at work, he spends his leisure immersed in scholarship across varying disciplines including philosophy, art, and technology. He also plays and composes music, primarily on the piano, and is fueled by rich conversations with friends and strangers alike.

Navreet
MEMBER AT LARGE
Navreet Brar (she/her) is a second year student at the University of Regina where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She started volunteering with SEARCH at the beginning of 2026 and has developed a genuine interest in serving vulnerable communities. She resonates with the holistic care that SEARCH provides and wants to be a part of the team to make a meaningful impact in the community. In her free time, she enjoys coaching soccer, running, working with children, and spending time with her family.
